Prime day is coming, and I thought I just thought I would share the current prices before you make a decision on a new NAS.
I recently wrote a whole article comparing the 220j and 720+ here. This may not seem relevant to this post but it will give you a better idea on what you can expect from buying a Synology NAS on a budget. If you can afford it, I highly recommend the DS923+, but the DS720+ and DS920 are a great alternative for photography.
Both the DS720 and DS920+ are the same speed, but the 920 has more bays for storage. That means it will write files faster with a RAID configuration.
